RIVERS ASSEMBLY: Evans Bipi ask Gov Amaechi to respect Dame Jonathan

LEGISREPORTS NG – The member representing Ogu/bolo constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly Evans Bipi has cautioned Governor Amaechi against making unguarded utterances against the First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan.Hon. Bipi the acclaimed Speaker of the State Assembly who spoke through his Media Aid Tamuno Miebaka Davies denied rumours that the face off between the First Lady and Governor Amaechi is because the Governor is not sharing the States resources with Dame Patience Jonathan.He traced their strained relationship to Governor Amaechi’s demolition of the water fronts in the State.Evans Bipi said Governor Amaechi did not like it when the First Lady advised him to go about the demolition of the water fronts with a human face.

Governor Amaechi should please for ones respect the exalted office of the President and his wife who is the mother of the Nation, she advised Governor Amaechi to exercise caution in the demolition of people’s houses without proper consultation, we are all living witnesses of how Governor Amaechi has rendered thousands of people homeless in the name of demolition of water front and acquired the areas for himself.
