REPORT YOUR REPS: Hon. Bimbo Daramola Briefs Constituents on Stewardship, Gets Accolades
I was there live on Saturday, August 17, when Hon. Bimbo Daramola, member representing Ekiti North Federal Constituency 1 (my own constituency) in the House of Representatives was giving the account of his 2years stewardship in Abuja tagged “ABOMIRE 2″ to the people at Irepodun Ifelodun Pry School Ikole Ekiti.
To mark his 2years in office, the following items (over N45million in estimate) were given out to the people of the constituency: 15 Cars, 2 Luxurious buses to aid transportation within Oye/Ikole axis , 40 Plasma TV for all Oba’s in Oye/Ikole LGA’s, 24 Celing Fans, 12 Grinding Machine, 20 Generator Sets, 6 vucanizing machines, 10 Sewing Machine, 6 dryers, 10 Hair Clippers, 24 Farm Sprayer, 10 Deep Freezer, 10 Motorcycle. He also gave 48 people 25, 000 each. While identifying with his constituents, he has visited them over 100 times in 2years, which is commendable.
To trim down the health challenges among the people of his constituency, he has provided a 38 bed-hospital for them.During the programme, he listed the completed and proposed projects in the last two years which is heart touching and he said: “Let me make this clear, ABOMIRE is a daily experience not a day event or annual experience.
Day after day that I have the privilege to support my constituents in one way or the other as i have done severally by God’s grace in the past two years, I have done to my best to meet our people’s needs”.He has done creditably well in the last 2years and this is recognised with accolades and awards from different institutions, groups, traditional and political leaders.
His contributions on the floor of the House and on national issues truly shows he’s from Land of Honour and Fountain of Knowledge because he’s bold, brilliant and balanced. Finally, without fear or favour, am bold enough to say am proud of him and his achievements so far.
