POLITICS: PDP berates AG’s plan to take over Chidi Lloyd’s prosecution

 

 

LEGISREPORTS NG – The PDP in River State says the sudden indication of interest by the Attorney General of Rivers State, Wogu Boms to take over prosecution of the Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly Chidi Lloyd has indicated the Party’s earlier position that the Rivers State Government was planning to scuttle the prosecution.

 

A statement issued by the Special Adviser Media to the PDP Chairman Jerry Needam said the Rivers State  Government aim of planning to  scuttle the prosecution is to make Chidi Lloyd a hero.

 

The PDP also said it is confident that the Police and the Judiciary will ensure justice is done in the matter.
