ODDITY: There’s no quarrel between Governor Amaechi and CP Mbu – Fmr MILAD

LEGISREPORTS NG – The first Military Administrator of old Rivers State, and Amanyanabo of Twon Brass king Alfred Diete –  Spiff says the face off between Governor Chibuike Amaechi and the State Police Commissioner Mbu Joseph Mbu has been settled.

King Alfred Diete – Spiff in an interview with LEGISREPORTS in Port Harcourt noted that there is no conflict between the Commissioner of Police and the Governor

”It has already been resolved at Abuja that the Commissioner of Police has a duty and that part of the duty is for the safety and security of the Governor, you know there is nothing to it”.

He also advised Journalists against over heating the polity in their reportage of the crisis in Rivers State

”I would say that most of these things are being blown out of proportion by the media, this sort of things are happening everywhere in the World, how many have you heard in this manner, Newspapers don’t go out to be cataloguing this and that what we are doing in the process is that we might end up to scare Entrepreneurs  from coming to Rivers State or to Nigeria, so we should not be doing what will portray the Country in bad light”. He said
