JUDICIARY: Court gives nod to group challenging Justice Agumagu’s Appointment
LEGISREPORTS NG – The Kengema Unity Forum has obtained a court order seeking to challenge the constitutionality of the appointment, screening and swearing in of Justice PMC Agumagu as the State Chief Judge.
Counsel to the Forum, Tamuno Dick who spoke to judiciary correspondents in PortHarcourt shortly after getting the leave of the court said, the Federal High Court in Port Harcourt granted him the order to serve the Rivers State Governor, the Attorney General of the federation and Attorney General of Rivers State, the National Judicial Council and the State Judicial Commission, state House of Assembly, Justice PMC Agumagu as well as Justice Daisy Okocha to the matter .
He said that the suit is to invite all the parties involved in the said appointment to know the legality of the process of his appointment.
